Herta Scheurle (also known as Sonia Staber) is an argentine actress offspring from an Austrian mother and a German father.

Late 50s studied acting with Marcelo Lavalle and Luis Ney and participated in plays in Argentina.

In the early 60s she traveled to Germany to study acting and she got the official diploma of Dramatic Art at Zinner Studio school of Munich.

She worked in the public theater of the cities Krefeld, Mönchengladbach, Wuppertal from Germany, where she made many plays, under the direction of Bäcker, J. Fontheim and Heinrichsen, among others.

At Zinner Studio, she became friends with a fellow theater, Peer Raben, musician of the films of the German director RW Fassbinder. She ends up living a stay in his commune, marking a turning point in her career and life.

In 1969 he settled in Paris and began studying psychology at the University of La Sorbonne while she goes on participating in plays

But she had to interrupt her life in Paris and return to Argentina for family reasons.

In Argentina, she continued acting studies with Carlos Gandolfo and Luis Ney; dance with Maria Fux and Beatriz Ferrari; singing with Naomi Souza and Helga Epstein.

She worked in theater, cinema and television with the directors Luis Ney, Frederick Wolff, Maria Teresa Riveras, Francisco Rinaldi, Alberto Migré, Jutta Brückner and Martin Rejtman.

Meanwhile, she studied Fine Arts in Buenos Aires and attended the studios of Juan Battle Planas, Miguel Angel Vidal, Carlos Cañas, Luis Puente, Aida Carballo, among others. She had exhibitions of her paints in a few art galleries.

He retired from acting to study the teaching of German-Castilian dedicated exclusively on it.

Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires. And got a postgraduate Art Therapy at IUNA.

In 2014, HABITARES, an argentine film directed by Marina Zeising, portrays her life, marking her return to film and acting.
